Flying Officer KESTREL
Name: Andy
DOB: Sept 6, 1967 RED Section Port Hawksbury, Nova Scotia Canada
|
The KESTREL preys chiefly on large insects such as grasshoppers during the summer. In winter, it will prey mainly on mice and small birds of sparrow size. Prey is often taken by a plunge from a hover or a perch. Kestrels rarely catch prey in the air. Due to the kestrel's tolerance of heat, it rarely needs to drink water, but instead obtains water from its carnivorous diet. Andy has proven himself well beyond the expectations of the 401. He is a very keen individual indeed. Andy has many interests which include astronomy, birdwatching, wargaming, collecting kits and many other interestes, this on top of his being a school teacher keeps him very very busy. He has dual citizenship here in Canada and the United Kingdom, and is still single but looking for the right one.
