Group Captain LYNX

The Lynx is an incredible hunter in Canadas winter habitat. It can pursue game in knee deep snow and with the expertise that only a cat could display, it will trip up its prey and vanquish it. The Lynx is rarely seen in the wild. It is elusive and intelligent. If you happen to see one, consider yourself lucky as you are probaly dead in a short time. Ian recently traded in his beloved 109 for the Yak and again has traded that in for his beloved Hurricane. Although his tactics have changed implementing the new A/C, He has definitely fallen for his new mount. Fox can be often found flying with him and together they make a deadly combination. Lynx is Fox's right hand man and an essential and intrigal part of the 402. He is the recruitment officer and is very selective with whom they take on in the unit, so to be selected is an honur within this squadron. In peacetime Ian was a prosperous Engineer. When the dark clouds of war loomed on the horizon, Ian volunteered and ended up here. He is a childhood friend of Fox's. He is married to his gorgeous wife Julie, but as of yet have no children. While on R & R Ian and Julie enjoy golfing, and as an ex- rugger player Ian still enjoys taking in loccal and International games where and when he can. A big fan of the pints, you can find him and his wife in the local pub hosting a few.
