Wing Commander TIGGER
Name: Dave
DOB: May 25,1959 Victoria, British Columbia, Canada GOLD Section |
David is one of the most well liked members in the 401. He is always flying when he can as well as being there for anyone who needs a hand. He is a patient and kind pilot and extols the virtues of what a 401 402 pilot is all about. David was in the Royal Canadian Navy and was buzzed by one of our boys here in the 401 after a dogfight had taken place over the convoy he was escorting. After a wonder and unauthorized display of aerobatics, David was convinced he was in the wrong branch of the services. After pulling some strings, and a few favors, Dave was accepted to flight school in the B.C.A.T.P and after passing near the top of his class, ended up here in the same squadron that buzzed him! TIGGER is made of the same mold as the "DOO". A guys, guy, a friend to all. TIGGER always has a calming, reassuring effect on the men in combat. He loves to laugh and is respected by all the pilots and by Foe's alike. Again, TIGGER is a pillar in the 401 hiearchy.
David is married (25+years) and is currently serving (28years) in the Canadian Military as “Staff Officer, Naval Operations Training Desk Chief” in National Defence Head Quarters. He has on occasion strapped on army boots and wielded rifles of various types and yes his better half is still with him after bringing back some of those Intestinal Jungle Bugs (Fear Factor is a pussy show) ;-) When David is not deployed; most of his spare time is spent with his family doing carpentry, building 1/35th scale Armor and walking his 2 dawgs, Sheba and Chester.
